Basement Buddies is our popular Before and After School club. The club is Govenor led now but was a community funded organisation when it was set up in September 2001. In our club we try to create an atmosphere of caring and respect for each other.
We aim to provide secure, safe, comfortable and pleasant surroundings.
We help children to recognise, accept, respect and celebrate their differences.
We encourage children to have patience with each other to learn self-control and to develop a responsibility for their actions.
The club sets high standards and has high expectations in terms of behaviour and we endeavour to praise and encourage good examples of this.
These expectations are continually re-enforced by staff inside and out.
All children attending the club must have completed registration and consent forms. Some of this information is a legal requirement under the Children’s Act while the remainder ensures the staff can care safely for your child e.g. information about allergies.
